Kaizoku means pirate in Japanese, and Mori has made a brew here, which they believe tastes like the dark beer the Japanese pirates drank on their ships in the Edo era. Apparently they were a bit more sophisticated than you would think, as this porter is mild and full-bodied, with a great balance between dry and sweet, and light notes of chocolate and liquorice.
The price includes the bottle deposit.
