This sake is from Choryo Shuzo, located in Nara just south of Kyoto. They make sake, which is stored on cedar barrels that have grown for at least 80 years and are specially selected for their sake dishes.
Yoshino Suginotaruzake is fresh, with complex and slightly bitter notes from the cedar, as well as a rich and full-bodied aroma. It is a good match for the slightly heavier dishes in Japanese cuisine.
Alcohol: 15.5 %
